Residential programme
It takes place in a warm and confortable environment that helps the person to stay away from distress and gives the chance to focus on the illness.
At the early stage detoxification programme takes place.
The psychodiagnosis is developed to identify other psychological and family disorders. Sometimes these disorders have developed earlier than the addiction and frequently there are psychological disorders that are associated to addiction.
It is then indicated an individualized therapeutic treatment that includes a number of daily activities.
The programme provides a full range of services including the following:
•Medical/psychiatric support and assessment. Prescription of medication if it is required. Blood or urine tests.
•24 hours nursing care
•Personalized treatment carried out by the assigned clinical psychologist
•Didactic documentation.
•Didactic sessions led by the therapist..
•Presentation of movies concerning therapeutic issues
•Two daily group therapies.
•Daily meetings with assigned therapist.
•Individual clinical interviews with assigned therapist
•Group therapy and psychological and nursing assistance on Saturdays.
•Daily gym classes conducted by a trainer.
•Guidance for family members that the patient determines.
•Patient discharge report at the end of treatment.
There are single and double rooms according to the patient’s preference.
•Accommodation includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner.
