INTENSIVE STABILIZATION PROGRAMME
This programme concerns patients who require an intensive therapeutic assistance in the first phase of residential care.
PATIENT PROFILE
Descompensated symptomatology.
Patients at risk of suicide.
Patients with state of great weakness, and who need close medical surveillance.
Patients who suffer from anxiety attacks.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Stabilization of acute problems by prescription medication and psychological support.
Physical and mood stabilization for anxiety and mood disorders.
Psychiatric restraint and permanent care to facilitate the beginning of next stage of treatment according to diagnose.
LENGTH
It depends on patients outcomes. In order to join the general programme the physical and mood stabilization should have been reached and there should not be any risk for other patients.
