Capistrano programme

The Capistrano therapeutic programme intends to promote a whole and deep personal change. It is based on a humanistic, rational and scientific approach that includes all biological, social and psychological aspects that are involved in addictions.
There are two stages, the residential care that can last 30, 60 or 90 days, and a second non residential maintenance programme. This second stage can be carried out both in our center as well as in other recommended collaboration centers.
Medically supervised detoxification is the first stage of residential care and lasts 3-7 days. After detoxification an individualized therapeutic programme according to patient profile is followed. Psychologists will assess the family distress, and will provide family guidance.
WHEN IS RESIDENTIAL CARE ADVISED?
The residential programme is indicated to treat addictions of any kind and comorbid psychological disorders. It does allow the patient to leave environmentals distress so that he/she can best focus on the illness.
Physical and psychological dependence, denial, dysfunctional family environment, and relapse are considered.

Non chemical addictions.
